About Plus UAE

Our Corporate Concerns

A Modest Beginning

Our business was founded in February 2011 as Simbaz Limited. We started off with three employees dealing on new and fairly used clothing and shoes, first delivering to customers in the UK and selling our wares at car boot sales. As our business grew we extended our market to countries such as Belgium and Germany (in Europe), Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria and other East and West African regions – delivering in large shipping containers.

Van Rentals

As orders grew and the cost of transportation goods soared, we ventured into van rentals. ConstructionWe were able to mitigate the cost of transporting our commodities and at periods of modest sales of our clothing range, money streamed in from van hire. We also delved into courier services conveying commercial packages and goods across Britain. Within three months of van rentals, we managed to increase our van fleet from two to fifteen long-wheeled vehicles.

Our courier business has flourished to the extent that we have built networks across Europe enabling us to deliver consignments worldwide by air and sea transport (through collaboration with other courier organisations)

Further Growth and Expansion

Our Accounting department was established in 2014. And in 2017, we incorporated the construction arm of our business

The Simbaz brand was then sold off so we could raise some capital to Construction commission a much more bigger company: Plus UAE. In 2018 we expanded our corporate portfolio to areas such as property development and waste management. To date, we have executed around 40 construction projects with some of the contracts handled with multi-million pounds budgets.

Our Voluntary Projects

Construction Plus UAE supports a community based private nursery and primary school in Uganda. Established in 2016, the co-educational school currently has a total intake of three hundred (300) pupils – a significant improvement in enrolment numbers from the three pioneer students who registered at inception. The goal is to extend the academic provision to include secondary and tertiary levels in the near future.
